ABC has announced that the popular medical drama will be back for a 23rd season, airing in the 2026-2027 TV season.
The show has been renewed following last week’s announcement that Season 22 would be the last for some characters. Shonda Rhimes, the creator of Grey’s Anatomy, had previously said she would give those characters, Owen and Teddy, a satisfying conclusion.
