Goldentv, a streaming service focusing on content for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, has revealed when their 2025 shows will make their debuts.
2021’s lineup presents two exciting new series: “Stir the Pot,” a talk show led by Kelly Mi Li (“Bling Empire,” “Immediate Family”), and “Crossing Over,” an AAPI-focused docuseries about a boy band from Hawaii. Both shows make their first appearance on GoldenTV and its affiliate channel ChimeTV, the unique Asian American, English-language cable network. The premiere for “Stir the Pot” takes place this Friday, while “Crossing Over” is scheduled to launch on May 1st.
During the Lunar New Year, Golden Media’s lineup demonstrates our dedication to sharing captivating, diverse, and innovative stories about the AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) community, as expressed by CEO Takashi Cheng. Our goal has consistently been to highlight AAPI narratives and talent, and this season we’re increasing the range of options – from documentaries, talk shows, all the way to beloved community staples such as entertainment, sports events, and more. This is an exhilarating period for representation within our community, and we are honored to contribute to it.
