Giant Pokemon cards take over Tokyo skyline with viral night display

Huge Pokémon cards are now displayed on buildings in Tokyo, featuring beloved characters on one of the city’s most famous sights.

The digital display is connected to the recent “Pokémon Trading Card Game: TOKYO LUMINOUS NIGHT” event, which began on March 20th with a projection show on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.

For 30 minutes, giant Pokémon cards were displayed on the outside of the building, captivating a crowd of excited fans.

The event featured classic artwork of the original Pikachu card, and an Umbreon was displayed against a beautiful moonlit background.
