Amazon has a fantastic deal on the Stanley Kubrick 3-Film 4K Collection as part of its Halloween sale – it’s one of the best 4K Blu-ray box set discounts we’ve seen all year! You can get this 7-disc set, featuring the acclaimed films 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining, and Full Metal Jacket, for just $24.49. Originally priced at $85, this deal works out to only $8.16 per movie. Buying each movie separately in 4K would cost you over $51.66, so this box set is a great value.
Amazon’s 3-film Stanley Kubrick collection has already sold out quickly this week, and it’s easy to see why – at just $24.49, it’s the lowest price we’ve found. Amazon expects to deliver these in mid-November. If you’re hoping to watch The Shining this Halloween, you can get the 4K Kubrick Collection for $25 from Gruv, which sells through Amazon. Prime members still get free shipping! Keep in mind that if the Amazon deal sells out again, the Gruv offer probably will too.
Stanley Kubrick Movies on 4K Blu-ray

Most of Stanley Kubrick’s films have recently been updated to 4K UHD resolution, and now his last movie, Eyes Wide Shut (1999), is coming to The Criterion Collection on November 25th. You can pre-order it now on 4K Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray. This Criterion release features the full, uncut international version of the film – the original US release had some scenes cut for an R-rating. Amazon is currently offering a 30% discount on the 4K Blu-ray, bringing the price down to $35 from $50.
Criterion has released a 4K version of Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut, following their 4K Blu-ray of Barry Lyndon released in July. Fans of Kubrick can also find new Steelbook editions of The Shining from The Film Vault. These editions are imported and available on Amazon US, shipping free from the UK. The Shining Special Edition Steelbook costs $84 and includes art cards, posters, a collectible cigar box, and a slipcover. A simpler Solus Steelbook version is available for $47.66, including only the collectible case and slipcover.
