Season 2 of *Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage* is back, starting where the last season left off: with Georgie and Ruben now owners of Jim’s tire shop. They’re quickly discovering they have very different ideas about how to run the business, and a nod to *The Big Bang Theory* suggests this could create problems for their relationship in the future.

Georgie was first seen on *Young Sheldon*, and later appeared as an adult on *The Big Bang Theory*, played by Jerry O’Connell. Even though he only had a few scenes on the original series, we got a glimpse into his future. I was surprised when the younger Georgie on *Young Sheldon* mentioned something that happened in that future, right at the start of Season 2.

Georgie & Mandy’s Season 2 Premiere Referenced The Tire Shop Name First Heard In The Big Bang Theory

Ruben soon discovered Georgie had ambitious plans for McAllister Auto and Tire, including a major expansion and a complete makeover. While Ruben wanted to simply pay off the existing shop and become profitable, Georgie believed they should use the shop as a foundation to open a new location. The eldest Cooper son decided they could expand across Texas gradually, rebranding as “Dr. Tire” along the way.

In *The Big Bang Theory*, Sheldon and Leonard find out that Georgie eventually owns a chain of tire stores named Dr. Tire. The premiere of *Georgie & Mandy* Season 2 reveals the beginnings of this business venture, and whether Georgie will pursue it with his partner, Ruben, remains to be seen.

Will Georgie Turn Jim’s Tire Shop Into The First Dr. Tire With Ruben, Or Set Off On His Own?

Knowing what Georgie wants to achieve in the long run, I’m wondering if he’ll continue working with Ruben, or if he’ll eventually decide to go solo. Right now, they’re stuck working together because of their families’ investments, but if either of them had the opportunity to sell their share, would they do it?

Georgie & Mandy’s Latest Look At Season 2 Hints At A Big Fight, But Not The One We’re Expecting

I really hope Georgie and Ruben stay close, because they might need each other more than they think. Ruben is clearly good with the business side of things, and as we saw in Season 1 of *Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage*, Georgie is great at building connections and spotting new chances.

I’m glad Ruben and Georgie are continuing their business partnership, especially because Georgie and Mandy might not stay together forever. If Georgie ends up moving out, Ruben would provide a valuable business connection and someone for him to collaborate with outside of his family. It’s surprising the actors haven’t been told what’s going to happen with that storyline, but I really hope Ruben and Georgie continue to work together on important decisions.
