A popular Geometry Dash player famous for beating levels without looking at the screen is now under investigation. A recent YouTube video claims he’s been editing his videos to make it appear as though he’s completing the levels blindfolded, something he’s been doing for years and gaining recognition for.
I’ve been following Geometry Dash for ages, and there’s this player, WorldGame, who’s absolutely incredible! For over ten years now, he’s been doing this series called “Geometry Dash with Closed Eyes” where he actually beats super hard levels while blindfolded. It sounds crazy, but his videos have millions of views, and everyone knows the one where he beat Clubstep blindfolded – it’s legendary!
YouTuber TreblePKGD recently questioned the authenticity of WorldGame’s famous blindfolded gameplay in a video titled “Exposing WorldGame | The Blindfolded Geometry Dash Guy.” TreblePKGD claims that WorldGame didn’t actually complete the game blindfolded live, but instead used editing techniques like masking and compositing to create the illusion.
Claims center on masking and visual inconsistencies
TreblePKGD suggests the problem with these runs isn’t just about falsely increasing the number of attempts, which WorldGame has been criticized for before by Geometry Dash players. The video claims the ‘blindfolded’ runs are probably faked, pointing out many visual errors in the uploaded footage.
The video editing technique called “masking” involves layering one video clip on top of another to hide certain parts of the bottom layer. TreblePKGD suggests that WorldGame might have filmed himself repeatedly failing a level while blindfolded, then filmed a successful, non-blindfolded run. He could then use masking to make it look like he completed the level while still wearing the blindfold by showing the failed, blindfolded footage over the successful gameplay.
The video highlights a few things that suggest this technique was used. These include glimpses of level sections appearing around the edges of the game screen in older videos, reflections that don’t quite match up along the screen’s borders, and noticeable “cut lines” – as described by TreblePKGD – where it looks like the game’s hand was separated from the background.
The video also shows strange glitches, like fingers and hands changing shape from one frame to the next. Sometimes, parts of WorldGame’s hand seem to disappear when another hand moves in front of it. Additionally, his right hand barely moves during many of the attempts. TreblePKGD believes this lack of movement would make it simpler to hide any inconsistencies or errors in the masking process.
Clubstep blindfolded completion questioned
The most serious accusations center around WorldGame’s claim about completing the Clubstep level blindfolded after 2.1 million attempts and over 100 million jumps. According to TreblePKGD, if true, this would represent the highest number of attempts ever recorded for finishing that level in the game.
TreblePKGD’s analysis reveals oddities in a video showing someone playing a game. They point out that the player’s finger seems to subtly change shape right before finishing a level, and parts of their hand sometimes appear cut off. The video also suggests the player’s biggest reaction actually happens after the level is done, which could be when a masking effect is turned off to hide something.
TreblePKGD believes WorldGame’s claimed blindfolded level completions, like the one on Clubstep, are likely faked, though he admits there’s a tiny possibility they are genuine. He invites WorldGame to respond or asks professional visual effects experts to review the footage and explain how these completions were achieved.
As of now, WorldGame has not publicly responded to the allegations.
Geometry Dash community reacts to WorldGame allegations
After TreblePKGD posted their video, talk about WorldGame quickly gained traction within the Geometry Dash community, especially on Reddit.
A popular post on the Geometry Dash subreddit asked what was happening with WorldGame, quickly gaining thousands of upvotes. Users were trying to figure out the details of accusations against him and how they might affect his famous series where he plays the game blindfolded.
A lot of people commenting on WorldGame’s videos questioned how many attempts he claimed to have made, particularly his statement about needing over two million tries on Clubstep while blindfolded. Many tried to calculate the time it would take to complete that many attempts, and they found it hard to match up with the length of the videos he posted.
As a big fan of WorldGame, I’ve noticed something really interesting – people are pointing out that he always seems to nail levels on his first try with the blindfold on! It’s like his uploads follow a pattern where he puts it on and instantly gets it, which is pretty wild.
GUYS WTF DID WORLDGAME DO?

Many people in the community had questioned the runs for some time, and now see them as suspicious. Others had initially assumed they were legitimate because the videos had been available for so long without anyone pointing out flaws.
Many people felt it was difficult to tell if the work was genuinely finished because there weren’t enough livestreams, behind-the-scenes videos, or regular updates showing how things were moving forward.
While many reacted negatively, some users pointed out that using a consistent intro and repeating movements is typical for challenges on YouTube and doesn’t necessarily mean someone is cheating.
Some viewers pointed out that the video by TreblePKGD, though thorough, doesn’t offer conclusive evidence and suggested that WorldGame should respond or that other skilled video editors should offer their own assessment.
