In their contest against Gentle Mates, Fnatic’s debut of Alfajer on Jett was the standout moment in the EMEA region.
In regards to our decision, Boaster explained, “Frankly, we had merely three days and three practice sessions beforehand. We figured, ‘Given that kaajak is proficient with Yoru, let’s put Alfajer on Jett today.’ In these practice sessions, we saw significant improvement on the map Abyss again. We hypothesized, ‘This seems to be the winning combination—let’s send them in with high spirits since we trust their abilities.’ Placing him on Tejo might not have been optimal. Instead, having him on Jett, taking down opponents effectively, seemed to work better for us.
Fnatic will now be up against FUT Esports, while Team Liquid will be facing BBL on January 31.
