Starting June 12 worldwide, the second season of the Netflix action-comedy series “Fubar” will be available. Simultaneously, Netflix unveiled initial glimpses of season two, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger and fresh addition to the cast, Carrie-Ann Moss.
In Season 2 of Fubar, Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his role as veteran CIA agent Luke Brunner, joined once more by his on-screen daughter and fellow operative Emma, portrayed by Monica Barbaro. This time around, they’re gearing up to confront fresh adversaries. The narrative unfolds with Luke encountering an old love interest (Moss), a former East German spy whose sinister intentions could potentially bring about the end of the world and disrupt Luke’s life.
Moss became part of the show’s cast in May 2024, and filming for Season 2 started in April and concluded in August of the same year.
Arnold Schwarzenegger had open-heart surgery, but he reassured fans on social media in March that he was all set to begin filming Season 2 of “Fubar” as planned. “I’ve received countless heartfelt messages from around the globe,” Schwarzenegger posted. “Many have wondered if my pacemaker might cause issues with ‘Fubar’ Season 2. Rest assured, it won’t.” He added, “I’ll be ready to film in April, and only the most observant viewers will catch any difference.”

The series ‘Fubar’ was developed, overseen, and co-produced by Nick Santora. Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Phil Abraham, Amy Pocha, Seth Cohen, along with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell of Skydance, are also executive producers for the show. For ‘Fubar’ season 2, it is produced by Skydance Television.
