2025 saw French streamers break the global record for charitable streaming, as ZEvent 2025 garnered over €16 million (around $18 million USD), surpassing MrBeast’s $12 million TeamWater event held earlier in the year.
2016 saw the birth of ZEvent, a brainchild by Adrien ‘ZeratoR’ Nougaret and Alexandre ‘Dach’ Dachary. Over time, it has grown to be the largest annual fundraising event in French streaming. This year, it surpassed €100 million in total funds raised, making it the most successful charity livestream in history.
As a gamer, I was part of an epic gathering in Montpellier, France from September 4 to 7! Over 70 of us streamers came together in person, and even more joined remotely. The event kicked off with an electrifying live concert at the Zénith arena, setting the tone for the marathon streams that followed. For four straight days, we streamed non-stop, bringing our gaming passion to the world!
By the time the campaign ended, the donation total stood at €16,179,096.

In August, a new fundraising record was established during a 16-hour live Kick stream event led by MrBeast, Adin Ross, and xQc. They collectively raised $12 million for clean water initiatives, an achievement recognized by Guinness World Records as an official record.
At ZEvent 2025, the traditional style was maintained where creators established donation targets linked with challenges and comedy acts.
Weekend viral highlights featured live comedy acts by streamers, collaborative singing events among groups, and intense gaming competitions among participants.
Funds will be allocated to nine beneficiaries, among which are The French Association of Carers (Association Française des Aidants), The League Against Cancer in France (La Ligue contre le cancer), Helébor, Nightline, and several pediatric health organizations based in France.
