Popular Twitch streamer Clavicular is facing potential jail time after video surfaced of him shooting an alligator while live on air.
While visiting the Everglades on March 26th, Clavicular and his companions came across an alligator. One person in the group unexpectedly pulled out a gun and shot at the animal after asking if they could, and before anyone could react.
The shot happened so fast that the other people in the car didn’t have time to put in their earplugs.
The streamer, known for promoting physical self-improvement, was arrested that night for assault in an unrelated case. Simultaneously, Florida’s wildlife agency launched its own investigation into the situation.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) says they are investigating a video showing people on an airboat in the Everglades seemingly shooting at an alligator. They posted on X (formerly Twitter) that they are looking into the situation and will share more details as they become available.
Okay, so things are getting really serious for that Kick streamer. Florida’s Attorney General, James Uthmeier, just said this could land him in jail for a long time. It’s not looking good, honestly.

Florida AG says Clavicular’s “stupid” stream might backfire
In a conversation with Benny Johnson, Uthmeier shared that Fish and Wildlife is conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
We have video evidence, and we’re carefully reviewing everything to ensure we have all our facts straight. This appears to be a serious crime – it’s a felony to illegally shoot animals in Florida. There’s a proper permitting process for legal hunting, like alligator hunts, and that process must be followed.
Uthmeier described the footage from Clavicular’s stream as arrogant and reckless, suggesting it could cause problems for him in the future.
Oh dear! The Florida Attorney General has announced that social media influencer Clavicular could face a significant prison sentence for a viral video showing him shooting an alligator. According to Florida AG James Uthmeier, Clavicular has been arrested and the state’s Fish and Wildlife Commission is investigating what appears to be a serious offense.

“It might just be so stupid that it lands him a lot of time behind bars,” the Florida AG warned.
In Florida, shooting an alligator without permission is a serious crime. It’s considered a third-degree felony under state law (Florida Statute 379.409) and could result in a prison sentence of up to five years.
Honestly, I was really impressed with what Uthmeier said. Basically, she made it clear that no one—not even celebrities or influencers—is above the law here. She put it simply: if you break the law, you’ll face the consequences, and they’ll prosecute to the fullest extent. It’s a firm stance, and I appreciate that they’re not making any exceptions for anyone.
Clavicular also shot several bullets into the air, trying to destroy a drone he believed someone was using to spy on them.
Florida law (Statute 790.15) makes it illegal to fire a gun in public or in a reckless manner. Breaking this law is a first-degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail.
The streamer involved in the alligator incident hasn’t been arrested yet, but Florida’s Attorney General suggests charges could be filed soon.
