This week, the classic 1978 horror film *Halloween* got a new 4K Blu-ray release. A special limited edition Steelbook version is available now on Amazon for $45. Shout Factory is also releasing Steelbook editions of *Halloween II* and *Halloween III: Season of the Witch*, both exclusively through Amazon. *Halloween II*’s 4K Steelbook comes out on September 30th, and *Halloween III*’s version will be available on October 28th.

Halloween Series: 1978-1989
The Shout Factory Collector’s Editions include the Halloween movies up to the fifth installment. Be sure to also look for “The Return of Michael Myers” and “The Revenge of Michael Myers” on 4K Blu-ray. We expect these films will also be released in Steelbook editions in the future. Each Collector’s Edition includes a collectible slipcover.

Halloween Series: 1995-2002
After “The Revenge of Michael Myers,” the “Halloween” series paused again before returning in 1995 with “The Curse of Michael Myers.” This was followed by “Halloween H20: 20 Years Later” in 1998 and “Halloween: Resurrection” in 2002. These three films are now available together in a box set on 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD. Currently, this box set is the most affordable way to own these movies in 4K. While “Halloween H20” did get a 4K release in 2023, it’s no longer available. Individual Blu-ray and DVD copies of each film are also out of print, making the box set the best option no matter which format you prefer.

Halloween Series: 2018-2022
You can now find the recent Halloween trilogy – consisting of the 2018, 2021, and 2022 films – all together in a box set. It’s available on 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD.
You can buy each of the recent Halloween movies on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray together, or separately. Currently, buying them individually is a little less expensive. Plus, the original 2018 Halloween movie is available on Blu-ray in a special steelbook case for just $12.

Rob Zombie’s Halloween Films: 2007-2009
While Rob Zombie’s Halloween remakes from 2007 and 2009 aren’t considered official parts of the main story, they’re still fun to watch. However, you can only find them in high definition on Blu-ray discs.
