Final Fantasy VII Remake PlayStation 5 and PC update adds head start mode and fast forward cutscene option

As a long-time Final Fantasy VII fan who has spent countless hours traversing the digital world of Midgar, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of excitement and gratitude towards Square Enix for the recent updates to Final Fantasy VII Remake on both PS5 and PC platforms. The addition of the “New Game – Head Start” option is a game-changer for those who want to jump straight into the action without having to grind levels or scrounge for items.

After the unveiling of “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” for PC, Square Enix has released an update for “Final Fantasy VII Remake” on PlayStation 5 and personal computer platforms.

The updated versions of Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS5 are version 1.002, while on PC it’s 1.004. This latest update introduces a new “New Game – Head Start” feature, allowing players to begin with a character at a higher level, a more advanced inventory, additional GIL (game currency), fully upgraded materia, and other perks. Furthermore, users can now watch scenes at speeds between 1.5 and 2 times the original without missing any content.
