Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade launches on January 22, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2.
During the ongoing broadcast of Nintendo Direct, an announcement was made regarding a game that will now run at 30 frames per second. Starting today, pre-orders for this game can be placed on the eShop, and it’s anticipated to have a physical version available as well. However, there’s some uncertainty about whether this physical release is going to be a standard boxed copy or a Game Key Card.

If you haven’t been following the schedule, the game Final Fantasy VII Remake came out in 2020 on PlayStation 4. Later, a PlayStation 5 version was released, which included the Episode Intermission expansion content featuring Yuffie, called Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. This version was later made available for PC through the Epic Games Store and then Steam. It also works well on Valve’s handheld device, the Steam Deck. Later, it was announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade would be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox platforms.
Good news for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade fans! This latest update is now playable on PlayStation 5 and PC, specifically through Steam and Epic Games Store. For those who prefer a Nintendo Switch 2 version, you’ll be able to enjoy it starting from January 22, 2026. However, the release date for Xbox Series X|S (Play Anywhere) is still under wraps. In the meantime, you can add it to your wishlist on Xbox by clicking here.
