Square Enix is releasing a physical Twin Pack for PlayStation 5 that includes both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth. The two games will be contained on three Blu-ray discs.
Okay, so it’s a little confusing! The blog said it’s out *now*, but the official Final Fantasy post says we can actually get it starting December 4th. I’m hoping to pre-order it soon – they said it’ll be available on the Square Enix store and at some other retailers. I’m also really curious if the Episode Intermission content for the Remake is still a digital code, or if it’s now included on the disc itself – they haven’t said anything about that yet!

You can find my interview with Naoki Hamaguchi here, where we discuss the upcoming game ports, his thoughts on the remake trilogy being available on multiple platforms, potential amiibo compatibility, the chance of a physical release for Xbox, and even his coffee preferences!
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is out now on PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store). It will release on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S (with Play Anywhere access) on January 22, 2026. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is currently available on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store); you can find my initial thoughts on the handheld version here and our full PS5 review here. Development is also underway to bring Rebirth to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox.
