Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s first PC patch is now live with fixes for the graphics on Steam Deck, DLSS, and more

Square Enix has rolled out the initial update for “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” on PC, which includes improvements to the graphics settings on Steam Deck, DirectStorage functionality, and other adjustments, approximately a week after its debut on personal computers.

For Steam Deck users, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth now starts at a lower graphics setting when data is synced from the cloud in this latest update. Additionally, devices that support DLSS will automatically use it for anti-aliasing. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has been verified on PC and released for Steam Deck, but there are some issues to be aware of while playing on the handheld. You can read my thoughts on these matters here.
