Fans of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series will be excited to hear that a physical bundle containing both the Intergrade and Rebirth games is coming to PS5 on December 4th. While the name is a bit long, this pack offers a simple way to experience the first two games in the planned trilogy. It’s a PS5 exclusive, and pre-orders are expected to open soon – it’s likely to be a popular item!
Okay, so this bundle looks awesome, but there are a few hiccups. It’s a little confusing when it actually comes out. Square Enix says it’s out *now* on their blog, but their Twitter says December 4th, and that seems to be the right date. The biggest bummer? You can’t even pre-order it! If you’re in the UK or Europe, you *might* be able to find it on the Square Enix Store, but the link for us in North America just gives me a broken page. Seriously, a 404 error? Come on!
We expect the game to become available at more stores eventually, though Square Enix hasn’t announced any firm plans yet. It’s also unknown if it will come to other consoles besides the PS5. The game is confirmed for Switch and Xbox, beginning with Remake Intergrade on January 22, but it’s not clear if this special Twin Pack will be part of that wider release. We’ll likely have more information as the December 4 release date approaches.
