Square Enix is nearly ready to debut Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PC, approximately a year following its initial launch on PlayStation 5 in February 2024. The news was unveiled during The Game Awards 2024, where they also shared details about the game’s graphical settings, controller compatibility, PC specifications, pre-order options, and other relevant information in an official blog post.
Although the Action RPG hasn’t been officially verified for Steam Deck yet, the publisher has mentioned that they are actively working towards this goal as they prepare for the PC release of the game. Lately, Square Enix has shared updates about the Steam Deck verification process and any potential optimizations for Steam Deck support at launch on their social media platforms.
