In my gaming journey, I’ve traversed the expanses of Eorzea in Final Fantasy XIV, an experience shared by countless others. Yet, it seems that fewer of us have ventured into the lands of Vana’diel, the backdrop for Square Enix’s earlier MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI.
Temporarily, Final Fantasy XIV enthusiasts are able to enjoy a special offer – the Echoes of Vana’diel campaign. This promotion grants a reduced price on the standard subscription fee for the initial 30 days of Final Fantasy XI service.

During the Echoes of Vana’diel promotion, subscribers of Final Fantasy XIV will enjoy a reduced rate for their Final Fantasy XI subscription. Typically, this fee amounts to €11.95 or £8.29 every 30 days. However, with the discount applied, the cost drops significantly to just €5.95/£4.29.
To take advantage of this discount, players will need to meet the following requirements:
- Purchase/or already own the retail version of Final Fantasy XI.
- Sign up for a new FFXI service account, or reactivate an existing one.
- Sign up for a new account/reactivate with a Square Enix account that is currently subscribed to FFXIV.
It’s important to note that when you first register for Final Fantasy XI, there is a 30-day trial period at no cost. If you qualify for the Echoes of Vana’diel discount campaign, your paid subscription fee will be reduced after the trial period ends.
