In the twelfth episode of FBI Season 8, viewers learned the identity of Oslo, following a series of murders and a takeover of the New York Field Office. The season introduced Oslo in Episode 4, “Manifest,” as an assassin wanted by Interpol, who uses names like Isaac Stoll and Carl Amerson while committing murders throughout the state.
Oslo, having previously escaped and almost killed agents Maggie Bell and OA Zidan (who missed several episodes in Season 7), reappeared in Season 8, Episode 12 of FBI. He caused trouble at the New York Field Office and shared the sad story of his past.
Who Is Oslo in FBI Season 8?

Oslo is a highly skilled and dangerous assassin wanted by authorities in six different countries. He’s a professional killer and master of disguise. He first appeared in Season 8 of FBI when he assassinated U.S. Senator Charlotte Hirsch while she was under federal protection during a flight, which ultimately led to his capture by the FBI.
After breaking out of custody, Oslo demonstrated how difficult he is to apprehend, reappearing in Season 8, Episode 12 to commit more murders despite being pursued by Interpol. This time, he targeted federal whistleblowers who were in FBI protection, cleverly disguising himself as Assistant U.S. Attorney Rothbarth to gain access to their safehouse.

Okay, so things got intense this week on FBI. Our team – OA, Maggie (who might be moving on, sadly!), Scola, and Eva – were racing against the clock to find the remaining whistleblowers. But while they were doing that, Oslo, that incredibly dangerous guy, managed to sneak into the New York Field Office itself and went after them. He actually killed one of the witnesses while they were in custody, and tragically, an FBI agent too. Thankfully, OA finally managed to take Oslo down after a brutal fight in an elevator. It was a really tense scene!
Authorities have confirmed that Oslo is a dead end, as they’ve obtained his fingerprints, biometric data, and facial recognition information. This data has been shared with all law enforcement agencies nationwide.

During questioning, Oslo confessed his true identity: he’s Daniel Pierce. He explained he was forced to carry out assassinations by a shadowy figure or group called Tribune, who were holding his daughter, Imogen, captive.
People call me Daniel Pierce, and my job means I’m constantly traveling the world. But honestly, Imogen is everything to me – she’s my home, my only real anchor. The thought of losing her… I just can’t allow it. She has to survive.
This episode revealed that his terrible actions are motivated solely by a desire to protect his daughter. That’s why he risked returning to the United States, even though he was wanted by authorities, and it further clarified his heartbreaking past.
FBI Season 8 Episode 12’s Ending Proved that There Is a Bigger Threat In Play

The FBI team successfully rescues Oslo’s daughter, Imogen, from another assassin sent by Tribune. However, a bigger danger emerges for the main characters when they discover Anna Vorpe, someone important within the New York Field Office, is involved.
It turns out Anna Vorpe was behind the entire scheme, attempting to hide her involvement in a failed operation. While the mysterious figure known as Tribune remains at large, Special Agent-in-Charge Isobel Castille discovered Vorpe’s deception and intended to reveal it. The operation, called Task Force Copper, took place in Ramadi, Iraq, and resulted in the deaths of 16 Iraqi civilians by U.S. forces. This incident was covered up and never received public attention, which Vorpe was trying to keep hidden. (There’s also speculation about Isobel Castille potentially leaving the FBI after Season 8.)
There’s a major issue: Anna had powerful contacts within the government who pressured Isobel to back down, preventing her from revealing information. It appears a larger conspiracy is unfolding this season involving the FBI, and escaping it will require careful teamwork within the New York Field Office.
