In Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, twin sisters Mayu and Mio become lost in a deserted village overrun by restless spirits. They must use a special camera, the Camera Obscura, to battle these spirits and uncover the town’s dark history. This version of the game features a completely rebuilt Camera Obscura system for a more fluid and contemporary feel. A new feature allows the sisters to hold hands, helping them stay together while navigating tight, unsettling spaces, which are enhanced with improved sound design to create a truly immersive experience.
Fans of the Fatal Frame series will be happy to hear that Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is now available in the West on current gaming systems, after originally being released only in Japan in 2008.
