Farming Simulator 25 has already sold over 4 million copies worldwide, according to Giants Software. They also announced that more new content will be added to the game throughout its second year of release.
Regarding the sales milestone, Giants Software executive Boris Stefan said, “It’s amazing.”
He explained that while the sales figures were important, they were less significant than the incredible excitement and very positive responses from our community after the first year.
Farming Simulator 25 was released in November 2024 and is getting a Year 2 Season Pass for $35. This pass will add several new downloadable content packs and one large expansion to the game. The new content packs are scheduled to be released in the first and second halves of 2026, and the expansion will follow in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The Year 2 Season Pass gives you access to all future content, and you’ll also instantly unlock the new JCB WFT vehicle to play with today.

Besides the downloadable content planned for Farming Simulator 25 with the Year 2 Season Pass, Giants Software also announced that more free content will be available in 2026.
If you’re new to Farming Simulator 2025, you can buy either the standard game or the Highlands Fishing Edition. It’s also included with Xbox Game Pass, so subscribers can play it at no extra cost.
