Now that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is exploring the multiverse, a meeting between different versions of the same character – let’s call them ‘Thing One’ and ‘Thing Two’ – isn’t far-fetched, it’s more a matter of fitting it into the schedule. With the upcoming *Avengers: Doomsday* film already being made and the even larger *Secret Wars* planned for the future, there are two obvious opportunities to make this happen. *Doomsday* could hint at the possibility, but *Secret Wars*, with its rumored scope and anything-goes approach, feels like the ideal place for it to actually occur.
