As a gamer who has seen my fair share of YouTube videos and stunts, I must admit that watching MrBeast’s latest Lamborghini duct tape challenge left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, I can’t help but admire the sheer audacity of the stunt – it’s like something straight out of a high-stakes video game where destruction is the ultimate goal!

In a post on both YouTube and Instagram, MrBeast shared a video featuring a driver intentionally crashing a Lamborghini into progressively more layers of duct tape, leaving fans uncertain about their reactions.

In his journey to make his YouTube channel the largest on the platform, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has disbursed a substantial amount (millions).

In a casual and clear manner: MrBeast often spends large sums of money on creating intricate video sets and offering expensive prizes, so it’s not unusual for him to have high production costs when making videos.

On Monday, 11th November, Donaldson shared a video where he tried to find out how many rolls of duct tape were needed to halt a moving Lamborghini. The number of rolls used in the experiment was gradually increased for each attempt.

The video started showing a single roll of duct tape at the beginning, which the vehicle managed to pass smoothly. At the 10k mark though, the luxury car’s hood unexpectedly detached. After smashing through a barricade made up of 15,000 rolls of tape, the car swerved off the road.

After losing its front portion, the high-end car navigated past 25,000 yards of adhesive tapes only to come to an abrupt halt at the 25,001st strip.

I eagerly tuned into MrBeast’s YouTube and Instagram channels, where his latest video was making waves. It was also being circulated across numerous Twitter feeds. The reaction among viewers was overwhelming, with many expressing disappointment over the depicted destruction.

“Bro destroying a Lambo for a short is insane,” one user commented.

Another said: “He really destroyed an expensive car just to see how much duct tape it took to stop it.”

Others, however, weren’t bothered by MrBeast’s destruction.

“Bro, the car at the end did not disappoint,” one user replied.

Another commented: “Huge respect for the driver.”

On Twitter, certain users suggested that the video might have been created using generative AI, implying that MrBeast may not have carefully planned the stunt himself.

Previously, Donaldson disclosed that he and his team had tried out a fresh AI software for generating video concepts, and also posted a job ad for an AI artist. However, they swiftly took down the listing following negative reactions from fans.
