Spike Chunsoft has announced that it will remove Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky from Japanese digital stores around the new year. The PlayStation 4 version will be taken down on January 1st at midnight Japan time (UTC+9), and the PlayStation Vita version will follow on January 5th at the same time. They’ve also confirmed that they will stop making physical copies of the game.
Originally released in Japan in December 2015, Exist Archive isn’t currently available on any platforms besides PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. This means the game could eventually become unavailable in some regions. However, players who bought the digital version and any downloadable content on those platforms will still be able to access it whenever they want.

Aksys Games brought Exist Archive to North America and Europe in English in October 2016. You can still find the PS4 version for sale on the North American PlayStation Store. It’s unclear if the game being removed from sale in Japan will impact its availability in Western regions.
