Andrei Arlovski, a former UFC champion, has addressed accusations that he physically assaulted streamer Jack Doherty following an altercation at the Jake Paul versus Anthony Joshua boxing event.
Jake Paul experienced his toughest boxing match yet on December 19th, when he fought former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Joshua defeated Paul in the sixth round, and Paul suffered a broken jaw during the knockout.
But that wasn’t the only crazy thing that happened! There was a whole scene with Jack Doherty, a streamer and YouTuber, and Andrei Arlovski, who used to be the UFC Heavyweight champ. Videos started popping up online of Arlovski actually swinging and kicking at Jack’s crew – it was pretty wild to see.
The streamer said that the fighter unexpectedly tried to kick him as he was walking by. He explained on X (formerly Twitter) that he hadn’t done anything to provoke the fighter, but would likely be seen as the one at fault anyway. He stated, “I was just walking by, and he tries to kick me for no reason and that’s how it all started… I literally didn’t say or do anything to him, but I’ll always be the bad guy in the situation lol.”
I was walking along when he suddenly tried to kick me, seemingly out of nowhere. It was completely unprovoked, and even though I didn’t do anything to him, I’m sure everyone will assume I’m the one who caused the problem.

Andrei Arlovski responds to Jack Doherty fight claims
Arlovski responded to those claims on Sunday, December 21st, using a series of posts on his Instagram story.
I didn’t actually hurt anyone. I simply neutralized a threat that was made against me, my wife, my child, and a friend and his wife. I did what anyone would do to protect their family and friends – I stopped the danger.
Arlovski also claimed he was attacked without warning during the incident, saying Doherty was trying to get footage of him and that he was the one who was actually hurt.
They initially expected it to be simple content for YouTube, and that might be why they underestimated the situation. I might just be getting old, or perhaps it’s the unusual group – three people and a large bodyguard. It was strange because I saw the bodyguard walking, but I didn’t realize he was with them. He threw a single punch, as far as I could tell.
Andrei Arlovski says he’d love to get in the ring with that bodyguard. 🥊🔥

A fan challenged Andrei Arlovski to fight the streamer Rumble, urging him to ‘destroy’ him. Arlovski replied that he would happily accept, adding that he’d prefer a fair fight to being unexpectedly attacked again.
Doherty firmly maintained he didn’t start the trouble, stating the former UFC champion had accidentally collided with his team.
Look, I really wasn’t trying to start anything with this dude. I just wanted to avoid a fight and honestly, just stay out of trouble, you know? I explained it all in another video I put up.
