The event was a major showcase for new games and movies. From initial online announcements to unexpected reveals within games themselves, it gave a first look at highly anticipated titles. Streaming services, popular game series, and animation studios all used the event to share short previews and full trailers, launching the marketing for their biggest 2026 releases.

The Mandalorian and Grogu

A new trailer for the upcoming film shows Din Djarin and Grogu traveling in a Tauntaun-pulled sleigh, narrated by Sam Elliott. The movie, created by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, features Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White, and Jonny Coyne, and will be released in theaters on May 22, 2026.

Minions & Monsters

The first trailer for the new Minions movie reveals a 1920s adventure where the little helpers accidentally let loose some monsters while trying to break into the film industry. Pierre Coffin directed the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on July 1, 2026.

Hoppers

Okay, so I just saw the Pixar short’s ad that ran before the Super Bowl, and it’s… charming. It centers around a guy who’s somehow turned into a beaver, and he’s interacting with a whole crew of other animals – frogs, snakes, even ants and turtles. It’s directed by Daniel Chong, and the voice cast is fantastic – Piper Curda, Jon Hamm, Bobby Moynihan, and Dave Franco all lend their voices. Mark your calendars, because ‘Hoppers’ hops into theaters on March 6, 2026.

Project Hail Mary

Amazon and Sony revealed the final trailer showing Ryan Gosling’s Ryland Grace and the alien Rocky.

I’m really excited for this new movie! Drew Goddard wrote the script, and Phil Lord and Christopher Miller – a fantastic directing duo – are bringing it to life. It’s scheduled to hit theaters on March 20, 2026, and I’ve already marked my calendar!

The Adventures of Cliff Booth

Netflix has shared a sneak peek of its new movie, showing Brad Pitt returning as his character with longer hair and a mustache. The film, directed by David Fincher and written by Quentin Tarantino, also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Carla Gugino, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. It’s expected to be released sometime soon.

Disclosure Day

The first trailer for the new film starring Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor has been released, offering a glimpse into a story about preparing for contact with aliens. Michael

Lionsgate has unveiled a trailer featuring Jaafar Jackson portraying Michael Jackson, set to the iconic songs “Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough” and “Billie Jean.” The movie is scheduled for release in theaters on April 24, 2026.
