Shudder is kicking off February 2026 with a fresh collection of horror movies, including new originals and episodes of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs. They’re also hosting plenty of watch parties for fans to enjoy scary movies together, even a special Valentine’s Day event! February will bring a large selection of Hong Kong horror titles, and two films you won’t want to miss are The Boxer’s Omen, a truly unique experience, and the Hex series, which combines horror, dark humor, and supernatural thrills.
Here’s a guide to all the new movies and watch parties coming to Shudder in February 2026, including when you can stream them.
‘Nina Forever’ (2015)
Available to Stream Feb 9
Rob’s life is shattered when his girlfriend, Nina, dies in an accident, causing him to struggle with despair and attempt suicide. As he begins to heal, he finds a connection with Holly, a coworker. However, just as they become intimate, Nina mysteriously returns, injured and refusing to accept Rob’s new relationship. Rob and Holly must find a way to free themselves from Nina’s presence if they hope to build a future together.
Ben and Chris Blaine’s film, Nina Forever, is a unique blend of horror, romance, and dark humor. It’s a compelling story that relies on genuine emotion rather than cheap thrills, and it thoughtfully explores themes of relationships and grief. This makes it a perfect choice for a Valentine’s Day horror movie. You can stream Nina Forever on Shudder starting February 9th, and join a special watch party on February 14th.
‘Birdeater’ (2023)
Available to Stream Feb 9
Louie is on his way to his bachelor party in the Australian outback, and he’s unexpectedly brought his fiancée, Irene, along – a decision that creates friction with his friends. As the night progresses and the party gets wilder, the guys’ harmful behavior leads to a chain of increasingly serious problems. Ultimately, the night turns violent, friendships are ruined, and everyone’s lives are irrevocably changed.
I’ve been hearing so much buzz about Birdeater, and it totally lives up to the hype! It’s one of those indie horror films that really gets under your skin – the atmosphere is incredibly tense, and the visuals are just… unsettling, almost like a nightmare. The whole movie builds this feeling of dread, and the reveals are genuinely shocking. What I really loved was how believable the characters were, even when their interactions were deeply disturbing. It’s great to see Australian horror getting some recognition, and this is a fantastic example of how to do it right – focusing on mood and psychological tension instead of jump scares. If you’re interested in films that tackle tough themes like toxic masculinity, you’ll definitely want to check this one out. Seriously, if you’re a fan of inventive, smart indie horror, mark your calendar – Birdeater starts streaming on Shudder on February 9th!
‘Honey Bunch’ (2025)
Available to Stream Feb 13
Diana (Grace Glowicki) wakes up from a coma, but her memories are incomplete. Her husband, Homer (Ben Petrie), takes her to a secluded facility that offers new, experimental treatments hoping to help her remember. However, as Diana begins to recover fragments of her past – including experiences of abuse – she grows suspicious of Homer’s reasons for bringing her there. She must figure out the truth, confronting the strange staff and a growing sense that her life may be in danger, to regain her sanity and protect herself.
Following their 2020 film Violation, directors Dusty Mancinelli and Madeleine Sims-Fewer present Honey Bunch, a stylish and suspenseful romance. Described as a “Twisted Love Story,” it’s a perfect pick for a couples’ movie night and will be featured in a February 14th watch party alongside Nina Forever. Though debuting as a Shudder Original, Honey Bunch previously gained recognition at film festivals for its unique and daring style. You can start streaming Honey Bunch on Shudder from February 13, 2026.
