‘The Bluff’ (2026)

The film The Bluff, set in the late 1800s Caribbean, tells the story of Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), a woman who’s traded a life of piracy for peace. However, her past returns to haunt her when her old, bitter captain, Connor (Karl Urban), endangers her family. Ercell, with the support of her husband, T.H. Bodden (Ismael Cruz Córdova), is forced to fight back.

Fans have been actively hoping Netflix will remove the movie Electric State and essentially start over. Now, The Bluff seems to offer the creators a chance to regain their reputation. Early looks at The Bluff suggest it’s a thrilling and action-packed film with a strong cast.
