Escape From Tarkov Endings And DLC Revealed

After eight years in beta, the highly anticipated full release of Escape from Tarkov is almost here. This marks the official end of one of the longest and most well-known early-access periods in video game history.

This update isn’t just the end of the beta testing phase. Battlestate Games also has some exciting rewards planned for loyal players of the game.

Battlestate Games Details The Game’s Final Challenge, Endings, And Upcoming DLC

During a question-and-answer session at Tokyo Game Show 2025 (reported by Denfaminicogamer), Nikita Buyanov, studio head and game director for Escape From Tarkov, cautioned that the finished game will be very challenging and won’t be enjoyable for everyone. He indicated it won’t be an easy experience.

“Be prepared for the fact that not everyone will make it out of Tarkov,” says Buyanov. “It won’t necessarily be due to a lack of skill, but because the game’s missions and quests are intentionally difficult to finish.”

The game offers a real challenge for dedicated players, with four different endings to discover. According to the developer, one ending in particular will be incredibly difficult to unlock – so much so that achieving it will feel like a major accomplishment.

Buyanov also revealed that the first downloadable content for Escape From Tarkov, called “Scav Life,” is currently being developed. This DLC will add new areas to the game. Plus, console versions of Escape From Tarkov are also planned for the future!
