Escape from Tarkov collabs with its own competitor

Escape from Tarkov has just confirmed it’s teaming up with its own parody, Escape from Duckov.

You might not be a fan of games where you collect loot while fighting, but you’ve probably still heard of Escape from Duckov. In October 2025, it became incredibly popular, with over 300,000 people playing at the same time. That’s even more than the new Battlefield 6, which is surprising considering Escape from Duckov was created by a small, independent team and came out of nowhere.

A funny duck-themed take on the game Escape from Tarkov unexpectedly gained a lot of attention. Surprisingly, the creators of the original game seem to be enjoying the parody and are supportive of it.

I’m totally blown away! Both of my favorite games just announced they’re doing a crossover – I can’t believe it! It’s so unexpected, but I’m incredibly excited to see what happens.

Escape from Tarkov announces crossover with Duckov

I’m so hyped! Duckov’s trailer finally confirmed the collab is coming to the game on February 10, 2025. And it looks amazing! They showed off a brand new map based on Escape from Tarkov, and the ducks themselves are designed after iconic Tarkov characters – even the Scav brothers, Tagilla, and Killa are getting their own duck versions! It’s going to be epic.

In addition to the new crossover event, the update includes a revamped mount system, special seasonal content, and the chance to battle well-known characters from Tarkov.

This isn’t just about adding Tarkov elements to Duckov. Duckov will also receive some content inspired by Tarkov, though details are currently limited.

Coming soon.#EscapefromTarkov

The developers have hinted at upcoming content with a playful image: a duck placed within the realistic world of Escape from Tarkov, and a simple question: “Wanna have a party?”

Players are curious about what this new addition will be – whether it’s just a visual change, a collectible item, a reward, or actually animated ducks appearing in the game. Whatever it is, the next reveal should be exciting.

Okay, so crossovers in video games? Totally normal now. I mean, Fortnite is always doing them – League of Legends, Street Fighter, you name it. But honestly, seeing a game team up with a parody of itself? That’s something you don’t see every day, and it’s pretty wild!
