Epic Games Store users can claim 2 RPGs for free until January 22, and both are free to keep.

For a limited time, Epic Games is giving away both Styx: Master of Shadows and Styx: Shards of Darkness – Deluxe Edition for free to anyone with an Epic Games Store account. If you don’t have an account, you can easily create one and claim both games.

The Styx Games Offer Stealth Gameplay With RPG Elements

Both Styx: Master of Shadows and Shards of Darkness are stealth games with role-playing features. Set in a dark fantasy world, they put you in the shoes of Styx, a 200-year-old goblin and skilled assassin.

Released in 2014, Master of Shadows was followed by Shards of Darkness in 2017. Even though the first Styx game came out over a decade ago, these titles are still highly praised as examples of excellent infiltration gameplay. Both games currently have very positive user reviews on Steam.

The Styx games began as a spin-off from the dark fantasy action RPG Of Orcs and Men, which was originally released on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Styx was a helpful character in that first game, and players liked him so much that he eventually got his own series.

A New Free Epic Game Will Be Available On January 22

Gamers have only a week left to claim the Styx games for free, but a new free game is coming soon. The Epic Games Store releases new free games every Thursday, and they’ve announced Rustler – Grand Theft Horse as the next offering. It’s an open-world action game with a similar style to the Grand Theft Auto series.

The Epic Games Store has become well-known for giving away a huge number of free games over time, including popular titles like Dishonored: Definitive Edition and Civilization 6. While it’s not perfect, the wide range of games available through Epic is hard to beat.
