Here are the winners from the 2025 Emmys, including shows like Adolescence, The Studio, and The Pitt, as well as Stephen Colbert.
The Emmy Awards for 2025 were presented last night at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and comedian Nate Bargatze was the host.
Wow, ‘Adolescence’ totally dominated the awards show last night! I was so thrilled to see it win six awards, especially Best Limited or Anthology Series – it really deserved the recognition.

Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series
Okay, so I’ve been keeping track of the Supporting Actor nominations, and honestly, it was a tough call! Zach Cherry from *Severance* was great, and Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, and Sam Rockwell all killed it in *The White Lotus*. James Marsden in *Paradise* was a solid pick too, but the winner? It *had* to be Tramell Tillman from *Severance*! He absolutely nailed his role, and I was so hyped when they announced him. John Turturro from *Severance* was also fantastic and deserved to be in the running.
Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series
The winners and nominees for the award included Katherine LaNasa for ‘The Pitt’, and also featured strong performances by Patricia Arquette in ‘Severance’, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Julianne Nicholson, and Aimee Lou Wood, all from ‘The White Lotus’.

Best Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie
Here’s a list of actors and the projects they’re known for: Javier Bardem appeared in ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,’ Bill Camp in ‘Presumed Innocent,’ Owen Cooper won for his work in ‘Adolescence,’ Rob Delaney in ‘Dying for Sex,’ Peter Sarsgaard also in ‘Presumed Innocent,’ and Ashley Walters in ‘Adolescence’.
Best Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie

Okay, so the big acting award went to Erin Doherty for her work in ‘Adolescence,’ which I’m now adding to my watchlist! Seriously impressive company though – Ruth Negga in ‘Presumed Innocent’ is always amazing, and Deirdre O’Connell in ‘The Penguin’ was a standout performance. Chloe Sevigny was chilling in ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,’ and Jenny Slate brought it in ‘Dying for Sex.’ Oh, and Christine Tremarco also had a role in ‘Adolescence’ – clearly a great project! All these actors were nominated, but Erin Doherty took home the win.
Best Actress in a Comedy Series
Uzo Aduba was nominated for The Residence. Kristen Bell received a nomination for Nobody Wants This. Quinta Brunson was nominated for Abbott Elementary. Ayo Edebiri received a nomination for The Bear. Jean Smart won for Hacks.
Best Actor in a Comedy Series
Okay, so for comedy acting, I thought Adam Brody was pretty great in ‘Nobody Wants This’. But honestly, Seth Rogen totally deserved the win for ‘The Studio’ – he was hilarious! Jason Segel in ‘Shrinking’ was good too, and Martin Short is always a legend in ‘Only Murders in the Building’. But ‘The Bear’ had Jeremy Allen White giving a fantastic performance, though he didn’t quite snag the win this time.
Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series
Here’s a list of talented actresses and the shows they’re known for: Liza Colón-Zayas from The Bear, Hannah Einbinder (winner) from Hacks, Kathryn Hahn and Catherine O’Hara from The Studio, Janelle James and Sheryl Lee Ralph from Abbott Elementary, and Jessica Williams from Shrinking.
Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series
The following actors were nominated: Ike Barinholtz for *The Studio*, Colman Domingo for *The Four Seasons*, Harrison Ford for *Shrinking*, Michael Urie for *Shrinking*, Bowen Yang for *Saturday Night Live*, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach for *The Bear*. Jeff Hiller won for his work on *Somebody Somewhere*.
Best Writing for a Drama Series

The winner for this category is Dan Gilroy for his work on *Andor*. Other nominees included Joe Sachs and R. Scott Gemmill for *The Pitt*, Dan Erickson for *Severance*, Will Smith for *Slow Horses*, and Mike White for *The White Lotus*.
Best Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie
Okay, so the writing team behind ‘Adolescence’ – Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham – totally deserved that win! Honestly, I was really hoping they’d take it. The other nominees were great too, though – ‘Black Mirror’ from Charlie Brooker and Bisha K. Ali is always fantastic, and I also really enjoyed ‘Dying for Sex’ written by Kim Rosenstock and Elizabeth Meriwether. ‘The Penguin’ by Lauren LeFranc and ‘Say Nothing’ by Joshua Zetumer were solid contenders as well, but ‘Adolescence’ really stood out to me.
Best Writing for a Comedy Series
Here’s a list of creators behind notable shows: Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs, and Jen Statsky (Hacks), Nathan Fielder, Carrie Kemper, Adam Locke-Norton, and Eric Notarnicola (The Rehearsal), Hannah Bos, Paul Thureen, and Bridget Everett (Somebody Somewhere), and the winners, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez (The Studio).
