Elon Musk responded to a post on X suggesting that AI could allow people to create games similar to GTA 6 in just minutes, even before the official release. Given that GTA 6 is scheduled to launch November 19th, this would require rapid advancements in AI technology over the next eleven months.
Tim Sweeney, the CEO of Epic Games, recently spoke about the post and defended Grok. He believes that since AI can already create images and videos, it makes sense that it would move on to creating things like Grand Theft Auto. Elon Musk responded to Sweeney’s comments.

It’s important to remember this is just about the possibility of being able to easily make something like GTA 6. It’s understandable why people are skeptical, especially considering Elon Musk has often presented ambitious ideas that didn’t quite pan out, as one commenter noted.

The idea of anyone being able to quickly and easily create a complete, playable GTA 6 using AI is still just a fascinating concept discussed online, not a practical reality. While AI is already assisting game developers, the thought of it completely replacing their extensive work with a single command remains highly unlikely.
