Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Codes Are Being Scalped On eBay

The trial run for the Elden Ring Nightreign will commence towards the end of this month, and some individuals are already reselling access codes prematurely.

People participating in the network trial haven’t received their codes just yet, but that hasn’t deterred them from advertising potential codes on eBay. To show they’ve been chosen for the network test, some individuals are posting confirmation photos of their selection. Prices for these codes range anywhere from $5 to $300, although it seems none have been purchased as of yet.

As a gamer, I’m obligated to keep my gaming codes to myself – no sharing, selling, trading, or loaning them out to others. Getting caught breaking this rule could lead to losing my eligibility for the game.

The trial for Elden Ring’s Nightreign, scheduled between February 14th and 17th, is open on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. During this period, players will get a taste of the game while our team performs comprehensive online checks by subjecting the systems to heavy network traffic tests.

Elden Ring Nightreign is a multiplayer game where you survive three cycles of day and night, and up to three players can join a single game. You can collect loot and strengthen yourself to fight tougher enemies, including some from the Dark Souls series. Sadly, cross-play isn’t supported, so players on different platforms can’t play together. But if you’re on the same console like PS4 or PS5, you can team up.

As a gamer, I ain’t just talking about the high-priced virtual goods up for grabs this week. Some folks are attempting to cash in on the hype by selling their one-time-use Nintendo Switch 2 VIP passes for ridiculously high amounts.
