During the 50th-anniversary special of Saturday Night Live (SNL) on Sunday, “Black Jeopardy,” one of Kenan Thompson’s popular recurring sketches, made a return. Once again, Thompson portrayed host Darnell Hayes, who is also known as Alex Trebek in this sketch. The contestants for the game were played by Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, and prominently, Eddie Murphy.
The hearty chuckles were mainly generated by Murphy’s imitation of Morgan, as Morgan portrayed a character called Darius, and Jordan took on the role of Shaneice, a female character.
Greetings! You’re entering ‘Black Jeopardy’, the unique version of ‘Jeopardy’ where every spectator got Kendrick’s Super Bowl performance to a T, as I experienced myself,” I express, starting off by referencing Kendrick Lamar’s impressive halftime show.
In a dramatic imitation of Morgan, Murphy exclaimed, “That big dog is going to rake in the big bucks!” as Thompson presented him.
Hold on, Tracy,” Thompson said. “Don’t you have plenty of money already?” Thompson questioned him. “To live like I do, you need a lot of money,” Murphy replied. “I won’t eat anything less than a four-cheese lasagna,” Murphy added. “If it only has three cheeses, I don’t touch it.
