EA shuts down servers for more games. You have the last month to get all the achievements

Electronic Arts initially said that four Codemasters games would stop working in March 2026. But just a month later, they unexpectedly announced these games would actually go offline much sooner, on November 8th.

The titles that will no longer be playable in multiplayer mode in just over a month are:

  1. GRID 2;
  2. GRID Autosport;
  3. DiRT 3;
  4. DiRT Showdown.

Once the online servers are turned off, players won’t be able to get any achievements that require playing with others. If you’re trying to earn all the achievements or trophies in the game, you should do so quickly before Electronic Arts shuts down the online features.

This round of cuts will only affect racing games released on seventh-generation consoles. *GRID 2* moved towards a more casual, arcade-style of racing, while *GRID Autosport* offered a slightly more realistic experience. *DiRT 3* took a more serious approach to rally racing than the previous game, though it wasn’t completely without its lighter moments. Meanwhile, *DiRT Showdown* was all about over-the-top, exciting action.
