25 players on the EA FC team have been talking about suspicions that gameplay changes were made without informing them, however, the most recent public announcement has cleared up this misunderstanding.
In an earnings discussion, Electronic Arts (EA) admitted that Football Club (FC) 25 struggled during its debut due to underperforming sales. EA’s CEO, Andrew Wilson, specifically attributed Title Update 8 as a corrective action following this poor performance and a significant milestone for the game.
It turned out that optimism was well-founded, as fans proclaimed Title Update 8 to be the “top patch in FIFA history.” This update specifically tackled numerous concerns that players had been asking for, such as improving passing and reducing AI defending power, making it more straightforward than ever before to score goals frequently.
Nevertheless, certain gamers suspected that some of the gameplay modifications were rolled back in a covert update. EA refuted these allegations.
EA FC 25 devs deny secret gameplay update
EA has shared that Update Title 9 will be released soon. They also added, “Just a heads-up, no adjustments to the game’s balance will be made with this update based on the feedback we’ve received recently.
In the latest Title Update 9, gamers now have the opportunity to simultaneously progress two Evolutions within a game. However, there’s a consequence for those who choose to exit during a 0-0 stalemate match, as they will be penalized. But keep in mind, victory can only be claimed if the game has run for at least 45 minutes.
Although enthusiastic about the update, fans express concerns that it may have modified the gameplay adjustments from Update 8. Clarifications from EA regarding the matter failed to alleviate the apprehension.
“Have you nerfed the previous patch changes?” one player asked.
According to another comment, recent events seem to have reverted the game to its less enjoyable phases, as it was previously the most entertaining and engaging FIFA in quite some time.
It’s evident that some players aren’t convinced by EA’s statement and feel that the gameplay changed noticeably after Title Update 8 was first released.
