Dynasty Warriors: Origins Original Soundtrack vinyl release in the works from Spacelab9 and Koei Tecmo

Koei Tecmo and Spacelab9 have revealed plans to release the soundtrack for Dynasty Warriors: Origins on vinyl. The soundtrack will be a 3-LP set.

We’ll share more information soon about the packaging, song list, and different colored vinyl versions of the Dynasty Warriors: Origins Original Game Soundtrack. A big thanks to Blip Blop for letting us know! This comes after the recent digital release of the Dynasty Warriors: Origins + Visions of Four Heroes soundtrack.

If you’re considering getting Dynasty Warriors: Origins, it was a close second for our Best Design and Immersion award, and ranked among our top 10 games of 2025. Dynasty Warriors: Origins has launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam.

Spacelab9 and Koei Tecmo Games are releasing a 3LP vinyl soundtrack for the game Dynasty Warriors: Origins.

Spacelab9 and Koei Tecmo Games are excited to announce a special vinyl release of the Dynasty Warriors: Origins soundtrack. Coming in the third quarter of 2026, this deluxe 3LP set will allow fans to experience the epic music from the latest installment in the popular Dynasty Warriors series in a new and collectible way.

A Sonic Rebirth for a Legendary Franchise

As a long-time Dynasty Warriors fan, I have to say the soundtrack to Origins is seriously impressive. The Koei Tecmo Sound Team really nailed it – it’s a fantastic blend of powerful orchestral music, driving rock, and modern electronic beats. It feels like a natural progression for a series that’s been delivering epic music for over 25 years! They took classic themes and gave them a fresh, updated sound – these ‘Origins Mixes’ are awesome. Whether I’m in the middle of a huge battle or just exploring, the music perfectly captures the scale, drama, and heroic feeling that I expect from a Dynasty Warriors game at its best.

Honoring the Past, Powering the Future

With the series gaining popularity worldwide, this vinyl release lets both dedicated fans and newcomers experience the powerful music from Origins, which enhances its epic battles and moving story. This 3LP set honors the series’ musical history while also highlighting the fresh creativity that’s guiding its future.

I’m really excited for the Dynasty Warriors: Origins soundtrack! They haven’t shared all the details yet – like what the packaging will look like, exactly which tracks will be included, and what colors the vinyl versions will be – but they promise to let us know soon.
