Koei Tecmo has shared a new trailer showcasing how Dynasty Warriors: Origins will play on the Nintendo Switch 2, just before the game and a large downloadable content pack become available on all platforms on January 22nd.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins was first released last year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. We named it our second-best game for Design and Immersion, and it finished in the top 10 overall games of 2025. You can find Josh’s review of the original game here. Dynasty Warriors: Origins is now released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. It will be available on Nintendo Switch on January 22nd, along with the “Visions of Four Heroes” downloadable content. You can find more information about the DLC here.
