After launching Dying Light: The Beast in September, Techland has revealed its plans for the next 11 weeks, detailing a schedule of new downloadable content for the game.
After launch, the game will receive downloadable content including a New Game+ mode and a very difficult Nightmare difficulty setting. PC players will also get ray tracing support, and there will be a crossover with PUBG Mobile. Expect new, challenging “Legend” levels and various improvements to make the game experience even better.

Techland is currently hosting a new event called Call of the Beast, lasting until January 7, 2026. Every Thursday for the next 11 weeks, players will face fresh challenges with a chance to earn unique rewards. These rewards, like new weapons and vehicle customizations, are unlocked through community teamwork.
Complete at least 17 out of 22 goals to unlock a special Legendary reward, which will be announced in January 2026. If the community manages to finish 20 goals total, everyone who participated in the event will receive all the rewards, regardless of when they joined.
The first challenge is available today, October 16.
Techland, the studio behind the popular Dying Light series and now owned by Tencent, is developing a large-scale, open-world action role-playing game set in a fantasy world. A key developer who previously worked on The Witcher 3 is also involved in the project.
