As a movie enthusiast who has been fortunate enough to traverse the globe, immersing myself in various cinematic cultures, I must say that the upcoming Bollywood film “Fateh” piques my interest significantly. The collaboration between Grammy-nominated vocalist Loire Cotler and Bollywood star Sonu Sood is a testament to the universal language of cinema and music.
Acclaimed vocalist Loire Cotler, recognized for her contributions on “Dune” and as part of Hans Zimmer’s musical group, has created a unique piece called “Call to Life” for the initial directorial venture of Bollywood actor Sonu Sood titled “Fateh.
As a movie enthusiast, I’d say the plot revolves around me, an ex-special ops agent, delving into a digital crime organization after a blameless lady becomes ensnared in a deceitful scheme. In this thrilling journey, I find myself alongside Jacqueline Fernandez from “Kill Em All 2”, Vijay Raaz of “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3”, and the esteemed Naseeruddin Shah, known for his role in “IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack”.
As a film enthusiast, I found myself captivated by Cotler’s unique blend of world rhythms and operatic elements in her compositions. For one of the movie’s action sequences, she crafted a piece that transcends ordinary communication. In her words, “Music is a higher form of expression than anything we’ve created, so the specific language of ‘Fateh’ was irrelevant when it came to composing for it.
As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that this upcoming production boasts some top-notch action sequences orchestrated by Hollywood pros. You might recognize names like Federico Berte, known for his work in “Cobra Kai”, Filip Ciprian Florian, who contributed to “The Woman King”, and Lee Whittaker, who’s worked on “Captain Marvel”. The latest teaser hints at my character embarking on a rampage reminiscent of John Wick, with the count of fallen adversaries steadily increasing.
In my opinion, I’m thrilled to team up with Grammy-nominated artist Loire Cotler, whose work resonates worldwide. What astounds me is that her language barrier (Hindi) didn’t hinder our collaboration because music is the most universal language. Her captivating composition in ‘Fateh’ expresses everything we desired and beyond, adding a mystical vibe to its scene. Having her involved wasn’t just an option; it was essential to strike the perfect chord and deliver top-notch results to our audience.
Under the banners of Zee Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions, the film titled “Fateh” is being produced by Sonali Sood and Umesh K.R. Bansal. The planned theatrical release date is January 10th.
