I’m so excited for Dune: Part Three! It feels like a long wait, with eight months still to go until Denis Villeneuve finishes his incredible take on Dune and Dune Messiah. But I just saw the new trailer, and I couldn’t resist – tickets are already on sale for the IMAX 70mm version, and I’ve already got mine! I wanted to make sure I could experience it in the best way possible.
The highly anticipated film Dune: Part Three is currently scheduled to premiere on December 17th, initially competing with Avengers: Doomsday – a pairing fans have dubbed “Dunesday.” However, there’s talk that Marvel might reschedule Avengers: Doomsday to a different date, hoping to secure more of the premium IMAX theater screens.
Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya will reprise their roles as Paul Atreides and Chani in the upcoming Dune: Part Three. Anya Taylor-Joy, who briefly appeared in Dune: Part Two, will return with a larger role as Paul’s sister, Alia.
