Drake fires shots at Kendrick Lamar in surprise Kick stream with xQc

As a long-time fan who’s witnessed the evolution of hip-hop from its golden age to the streaming era, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement as Drake, one of my favorite artists, seems to be reigniting the feud with Kendrick Lamar. The rap game has always thrived on rivalries, and this one was certainly the biggest of our generation.

At last, it appears that Drake has responded to Kendrick Lamar, not through a fresh diss track, but during a livestream on Twitch with xQc instead.

As a gaming enthusiast might put it, whether you’re deeply immersed in the hip-hop scene or just casually tuning in, this year saw an intense battle unfold – one that could be likened to a high-stakes game of rivalry. The spark ignited when J. Cole dropped a ‘Big Three’ reference, which escalated into a heated confrontation between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

The left-stream artists and online celebrities were taken aback, with numerous reactions as they experienced the fresh music unveiled. Though Kdot emerged triumphant after all was said and done, with ‘Not Like Us’ being his final victory anthem at The Pop Out show in LA, Drake has been relatively low-key since then.

Since his last diss track in a feud, there hasn’t been any new music released by the Canadian rapper. However, he recently made a big comeback when he collaborated with fellow Canadian xQc on Kick. Immediately, it seemed like some of his lyrics were aimed at his rival, Kendrick.

Drake appears to be taking subtle jabs at Kendrick Lamar during his livestream with xQC, suggesting that only solid evidence or facts can challenge him, not mere stories or fantasies.

Drake claims only “facts” can take him out, not “fairytales”

Making their way to xQc’s mansion for the joint livestream, Drake took a seat in front of the camera and greeted fans with a brief introductory statement: “Hi there, I’m Drake. Let me introduce you to xQc, a true streaming icon. As for me, I create music – just in case that wasn’t already clear.

However, it’s his subsequent statement that’s causing a stir in the hip-hop community. He went on to say, “I’m present, completely so, mentally, physically, and spiritually, just in case you were curious. You’ll need hard evidence to defeat me; stories won’t cut it.

This remark could potentially pertain to various topics, yet considering it’s one of Drake’s initial prominent appearances following his feud with Kendrick, many fans interpret it as another jab or diss.

A day after its release, Kendrick’s newest album, GNX, has been igniting conversations on social media for a multitude of reasons, one of which revolves around condiments.

xQc did not urge Drake to expand on his initial remarks; however, the rapper chose to restate his comments during the subsequent part of the live stream.

Drake stated, “I feel completely at ease with everything,” implying that he has put in a lot of effort and does not wish to experience discomfort. He further explained that mere stories or fantasies do not have the power to unsettle him; only facts can cause him to change his stance.
