The action role-playing game Dragonkin: The Banished is officially launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam) after a period in Early Access, according to publisher Nacon and developer Eko Software.

Being a big fan, I was so excited to get my hands on the game during Early Access, and the developers were amazing at listening to what players like me wanted. They’ve already added a new character, some cool new areas to fight in, and tons of little improvements based on our feedback! Right now, you can play through the first chapter, but version 1.0 is going to be HUGE. We’re talking four full chapters to explore, a bunch of different environments, and so many enemy types – I can’t wait!
Players can now dive into a large, dangerous world with a full story campaign and challenging endgame content. They can choose from four different heroes, each with a powerful dragon companion that helps in battle with both passive benefits and active abilities. A key feature is the Ancestral Grid, a customizable system where players arrange skills like puzzle pieces to create powerful combinations and tailor their gameplay to overcome waves of enemies.
In Dragonkin: The Banished, you play as one of three dragon hunters tasked with saving humanity from a dragon invasion. The game features extensive character customization, allowing players to create unique and powerful builds. You improve your hero by collecting and connecting skill fragments on the Ancestral Grid. The city of Montescail serves as a central base, offering helpful services to support your strategy. Alongside your dragon companion, you’ll uncover a compelling story and enjoy a robust endgame filled with challenging and epic battles.
