Square Enix recently revealed a new trailer for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined during the November 2025 State of Play. The trailer highlights story moments from the game, including a completely new chapter.
The trailer highlights Kiefer, a blonde-haired character. Without giving away too much of the story, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined will include a new part where players can encounter an older version of Kiefer.
I was so excited to see Square Enix put up separate versions of the trailer on YouTube – one with the Japanese voice acting and another with English! It means we can really dive in and enjoy it however we like. And the best news? Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is coming everywhere on February 5th, 2026! I’ve already marked my calendar!
