For a while now, both types – Confined and Unbound – of the Mythical creatures from Kalos, have been included in Niantic’s game. They were introduced through distinct events that took place throughout 2021.
Currently, the Dual Destiny season has returned Hoopa Unbound, allowing it to fully utilize its strength during a unique Raid Event. Here you’ll find the essential details such as the admission fee and additional rewards.
During the Dual Destiny season, we are welcoming back Hoopa Unbound with its full power for a special Raid Day event. Below you will discover all the specifics like the cost of entry and any exclusive bonuses.
Hoopa Unbound Raid Day: Date & time
On February 15, 2025, the Hoopa Unbound Raid Day event is scheduled to occur from 2:00 PM up to 5:00 PM in your local time.
For a span of three hours, Hoopa in its Unbound form will dominate 5-Star Raids, showing up more often in Gyms. Unlike other Pokemon during Raid Days, it won’t have higher odds of appearing as a Shiny variant because it hasn’t been incorporated into the game just yet.
Event bonuses
The Hoopa Unbound Raid Day will feature the following bonuses:
- Hoopa Unbound will appear more frequently.
- Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs for a total of seven.
- The Remote Raid Passes limit will increase to 20 from Friday, February 14, 2025, at 5:00 PM until Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 8:00 PM PST.
Raid Day ticket
Pokemon Go players can purchase a ticket for the Raid Day event to unlock more exclusive bonuses.
On the Hoopa Unbound Raid Day for Pokemon Go, a ticket will be priced at approximately $5.00 (depending on the exchange rate in your region), granting trainers access to the event.
- Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs for a daily total of 15.
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles.
- x2 Stardust from Raid Battles.
1. During the duration of the three-hour event, the stated bonuses will apply.
2. If a trainer has reached the level of Great Friends or higher, they can buy and gift this ticket to their fellow players.
The in-game shop will offer the ticket for purchase up until February 15, 2025, at 4:00 PM (local time), which is one hour prior to the conclusion of the event.
