In Pokopia, you’ll unlock skills for your Ditto to discover more Pokemon, construct Habitats, and design your perfect Island. However, before you start building, make sure you unlock one essential ability first – it will make a huge difference!
Pokopia is great because it’s completely free to play. You can enjoy all aspects of the game, like collecting creatures, designing cute Habitats, finishing tasks, joining events, and gathering food. But many players especially love building things!
The game lets you create charming homes, roads, and landscapes, and design dens for your Pokémon as you restore towns. While the building isn’t as detailed as in Minecraft, and building things like roads and houses can become repetitive, there’s one important skill you should master before you start building.
Pokopia building is simple with Magnet Rise
According to DansGaming on X, it’s best to unlock Magnemite and finish the main story before starting to develop your towns.
This feature, called Magnet Rise, will allow you to float in the air, easily place several blocks at once, and quickly swap them out with a single click. It’s similar to creative mode in Minecraft.
I strongly suggest finishing the main story before you start rebuilding towns, mainly because of the Magnemite Form! It’s a game-changer, letting you easily hover, fly, and place or remove multiple blocks at once. It even lets you replace blocks with others in a single click – a massive quality of life improvement!

Okay, so as you progress through the game, you really need to get your towns up to level 5. It makes the Pokémon happier and just makes getting around the islands so much easier. Honestly, getting Magnet Rise is a total lifesaver. It lets you quickly build up your towns without having to painstakingly place every single block – it’s a game changer!
This does mean you’ll need to finish the main story of the game first, so it’s not a fast way to improve your town. However, it will significantly make building and designing much easier for anyone who enjoys creating.
