This obsession, fueled by apparent paranoia, seemed to intensify as the Trump administration achieved significant success and America experienced a period of prosperity. He concluded by offering his condolences to Rob and Michele, wishing them peace.
“Trump Derangement Syndrome” isn’t an actual medical condition. It’s a term people use – often critically – to describe individuals who consistently criticize former President Trump. The phrase is frequently employed to dismiss these criticisms as overly emotional or obsessive, suggesting the critics are being unreasonable.
Reiner strongly opposed Trump and warned of a potential authoritarian shift in the U.S. In October, he told MSNBC that the country had about a year before democracy could be lost. He believed Trump understood he would lose a fair election in 2026 – including losing control of the House of Representatives to the Democrats – and that this was why Trump was acting as he was.

Hollywood and Washington are both paying tribute to Reiner and Singer, with many Democratic leaders sharing their memories and condolences through official statements and social media posts.

Police in Los Angeles are investigating the deaths of Reiner and Singer as murders. According to reports, the couple was stabbed to death.
Late Sunday night, Nick was arrested. The following morning, police officially charged him with a serious crime, but wouldn’t say if it was connected to the deaths of his parents. They only stated the charge involved “gang activity.” His bail has been set at $4 million.
