Get ready for Where Winds Meet! The game is almost here, and we have everything you need to know about playing with friends, including details on multiplayer and cooperative modes.
The game Where Winds Meet has been very popular in China since its release in December 2024, and will be available worldwide on November 14th. It’s launching on PC and will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 consoles.
Many modern games let you play with others, but not all of them do. Here’s everything you need to know about multiplayer in Where Winds Meet.
Does Where Winds Meet Have Online Multiplayer?

Yes, Where Winds Meet offers various multiplayer modes, including PvP and campaign dungeons.
Our social hub lets up to 30 players connect at once. Campaign dungeons offer different difficulty levels and are designed for groups of either five or ten players.
The game also features optional multiplayer challenges you can find throughout the world, but you can skip them if you prefer.
Where Winds Meet is designed so you can play it entirely on your own if you prefer. Even if you skip the multiplayer aspects, there’s still more than 100 hours of gameplay available for those who want a single-player experience.
Does Where Winds Meet Have Co-Op?
Yes, in Where Winds Meet, you can play online with up to four friends. When tackling campaign dungeons, that number increases to either five or ten players, depending on how challenging the dungeon is.
In co-op mode, you can team up with other players to discover the world, find lost relics, battle powerful bosses, crack challenging puzzles, and enjoy special events together.
Everyone gets rewarded the first time they finish a side story or main quest. Additionally, players who are close to each other will receive rewards for solving puzzles.
Keep in mind there are a few limitations: you can only see and use specific items that belong to the host. Don’t worry, though – everything will return to normal once you go back to your own world.
Where Winds Meet is designed so you can play all the multiplayer content alone if you prefer. While teaming up with others is an option, it’s not necessary to enjoy the game. However, if you’re finding a particular boss difficult, playing with a friend in co-op can be a helpful strategy.
