Dispatch devs comment on fate of Season 2 as Aaron Paul hopes for more

The developers at Dispatch are now discussing the possibility of a second season, which they weren’t confident about just a few weeks ago.

Dispatch is a game that combines strategic planning with a compelling story. You play as a former superhero who now leads a team made up of both heroes and reformed villains.

The game launched less than a month ago and is already proving incredibly popular worldwide. With over a million copies sold in the first ten days, a very positive reception on Steam, and consistently high ratings, it’s clear there’s a strong demand for it.

And for fans who want more, the studio has just spoken about the possibility of Season 2.

Dispatch devs weigh in on Season 2

The gaming podcast, Friends Per Second, recently asked Adhoc Studio’s founders, Nick Herman and Pierre Shorette, about what they’re working on next, as reported by Eurogamer.

Great news for fans of DISPATCH! A second season is officially happening. Just a few weeks ago, it was uncertain, but now it’s confirmed – get ready for more! #DISPATCH

Shorette suggested they should start considering a second season. Just three weeks ago, the possibility seemed uncertain for the team.

So, after hearing what Shorette said, it sounds like Dispatch is starting to think differently now that they’ve been winning a lot lately. It’s cool to see success change a team’s approach, you know?

“That was a question mark three weeks ago. So, it’s a very cool problem to have,” he explained.

Dispatch is still finishing up, with the last episode coming out on November 12, 2025. Despite that, many fans are already hoping for another season. Viewers have become attached to the characters and don’t want the story to end.

Fans aren’t the only ones eager for more – Aaron Paul, the voice of the lead character, is also hoping the show gets renewed for several seasons.

Aaron Paul recently appeared on Moist Critical’s YouTube channel and expressed his desire to continue working on Dispatch, hoping for multiple seasons of the game. He stated he’s eager to collaborate on future installments.

He expressed his desire to continue working on the game for many seasons, telling MoistCr1tikal, the voice actor for Sonar, that he hopes they can create much more content together.

Even if a second season is made, it probably won’t be for a couple of years. That’s because Adhoc is currently working on an official video game based on Critical Role.
